I dont know what else to put here, so have two creatures i created with mods.If you believe your item has been removed by mistake, please contact Steam Support. Please see the instructions page for reasons why this item might not work within Spore: Galactic Adventures. Most of the mods i have are hosted on DavoOnlines Host your Spore Mods and Davos Spore Mods forums there.
Im sure you could find quite a few from offical Spore forums, and other Spore-related forums too. Before you say theres a malicious ad in the adfly page on some of them, please note it is easy to avoid. All you must do is hit Skip Ad a few times after disabling adblock so adfly will let you skip the ad, but the first time or so will open a Popup, which you should close before it can load any webpages. Spore Dark Injection Download Something AndAfter it says you can download something and (if) it asks you what to do with the file, such as open it in something or save it somewhere, close the adfly tab and download the file. If it is simply a.package, go to 3. If its a.sporemod, go to 4. If you have anything that can open them, open them now and look at any.txts and the.packages inside the file. If its something like Dark Injection, then there will be a main.package and lots of add-on.packages. Basically, to get to it, go to Steam Library, right click Spore, click Properties, go to Local Files, and click Browse Local Files. Depending on expansions you have, there will be BP1content (Creepy and Cute, you can put its.package into Galatic Adventures to use them together), Data (Core Spore data, where you can put Core Spore mods.) and DataEP1 (Galatic Adventures data, where you can put Galatic Adventures mods.). If you are using Dark Injection, its best to stop for a moment and not do it, because Dark Injection has a problem where it will try to load Galatic Adventures data that dosent exist if you use Core Spore with it. Most mods nowadays are made for Galatic Adventures, so i suggest you put your mods in DataEP1. After its all done and the mods are completely in there, done extracting and everything, start up Spore (Galatic Adventures if you put the mods there) and enjoy your mods If it contains a.sporemod, though, then extract it to a easy to get to place and go to the fourth section here. The data folders are as follows: BP1content (a folder with a single.package file, containing the content of Creepy and Cute, which you can put into Core Spore and Galatic Adventures data folders to use Creepy and Cute with them), Data (Core Spore data.), and DataEP1 (Galatic Adventures data.) If you have a mod that only works with GA, put it in DataEP1. If you have a mod that only withs with Core Spore, put it in Data. After all of that, you can start upo SporeGA and enjoy your mods. Please note: you must run the Spore ModAPI Launcher for mods using the Spore ModAPI to work properly. Some mods i know to be using it are the Infinite Color mod (which lets you use a color picker instead of different shades and such as in normal Spore) and Dark Injection (the newest release at the time of writing this). After downloading it, or if you already have it, open the Spore ModAPI Easy Installer and select the.sporemod file you want to install, and if it brings up a configuration before installing it, such as with Dark Injection, then you may select what you want and dont want from the list it gives, if any. After its done installing, and you are done installing all the mods you want, you may run the launcher. If it asks about which Spore version you are using, answer that. It usally launches even if it says it cannot find which version you are using, along with launching despite a error message and such.
